Weather, Giuliacci announces "polar attack": the days when we will end up below zero

Frost and cold are about to return. Don't get too used to this mild climate of the last few days, something is about to change and for the worse. Colonel Mario Giuliacci paints a complete picture of what awaits us, speaking on meteogiliacci.it of an incoming "polar attack": "The new disturbance, much more intense than the previous one, will persist over Italy for the entire central part of the week, bringing widespread and persistent bad weather to most of our regions.
So several rainy moments, sometimes even heavy rain and, at least in the mountains, even snow". And again: "Thanks to a slight drop in temperatures expected in much of the North, the snow will return to whiten practically the entire Alpine Arc, but only at medium-high altitudes: just to be clear, flakes above 1200-1300 meters, hardly lower". Finally, keep an eye on the month of March: "It is certainly not new that the incoming month could propose severe and not very spring-like conditions at times. In past years, in fact, the meteorological history of this period shows us frequent episodes of cold returns, even with temperatures well below the seasonal average and with snowfall not only on the mountains, but sometimes down to the plains". The worst days should arrive between the 3rd and 5th of next month.
